Voice Teacher - Kymberly Verhovshek

Kym is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where she studied Music and English Literature. She is a classically-trained vocalist and pianist who has performed professionally since her teens. She studied piano from the age of six with the first pianist of the Chicago Symphony, Eloise Niwa, and also studied with various vocal professionals, Deborah Bulgrin, featured recitalist with the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
Kym has musically directed professional musical productions, including Cabaret, Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, The Fantastiks, A Chorus Line, and The Wiz. She also played in a 15-piece house band. The Rupert's Orchestra, and a professional musician and audition tour accompanist for three years with Busch Entertainment in Williamsburg, Va. Kym is a skilled and versatile pianist, accompanist, and vocal teacher/coach for a variety of styles, from classical, to cabaret, to musical theatre and pop, for ages 5 to 105! She is grateful for the opportunity to teach at Miller's and is excited to share her love and knowledge of music.
