Lee Silvan Composition Seminars and Jazz Improvisation TeacherLee Silvan has been a professional musician in many capacities his entire life. He has performed in night clubs, conducted orchestras, composed music on commission, and taught extensively. He was a clinician for Music Teachers national Association, founding chairman of the Department of Music at Community College of Philadelphia; and has been a special advisor to the Department of Education in Pennsylvania. As the first professor to become microcomputer literate at Community College of Philadelphia in1981 he established and directed the College's Educational Microcomputer Applications Group. He has also been a frequent and popular lecturer in the Philadelphia Library's Cafe For The Mind since 1999. He is currently director of RightBrainMusic, an advisory and in-service education group for teachers at all levels.
