Theresa Miller
Theresa has a Bachelors of Music Education Degree and a Music Therapy Degree from the College of Mt. St. Joseph, and a Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling from the Athenaeum of Ohio in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She works with all levels of music and all ages, 4-94. She also teaches children who are learning disabled. Theresa has 35 years of experience as a piano teacher, teaching all types of music: Popular, Classical, and Christian, as well as how to play by chords. She includes music theory and technique in her lessons.
Theresa has a Spring and Christmas Recital for children and a Fall and Winter Piano Party for children and adults. These parties gather the students of different age levels to play their favorite songs, participate in musical games, and enjoy refreshments. These are important to attend in order to build self confidence and for preparation for recitals.
Theresa has a passion for teaching and music. Especially with teenagers and adults, she loves to teach whatever the student's musical preference is: classical, popular, broadway and Christian. Your lessons will be interesting, exciting and always encouraging.

Piano Lesson Contract
A ½ hour lesson will be scheduled weekly. More advanced students may schedule hour lessons.
For the student’s success and progress, one should practice each song assignment three (3) times every day in order to be prepared for the next lesson.
Payments for lessons are made on the last lesson of the month, for the next month.
In case of sickness or emergency, please call Theresa at 849-3315 to cancel your lesson.
There will be no lessons on major holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Please schedule all vacations with Theresa. If your vacation extends longer than one (1) month, you need to pay for the extended weeks if you want to reserve your preferred lesson time.
Piano Parties and Recitals will be scheduled twice a year. Attendance is very important for building self-confidence.
Regularity and commitment to your scheduled lesson and practice are key to your success and progress. Continual inconsistency, absences, and cancellations are a waste of all of our time, energy, and money. Termination of lessons then might occur.
