Store Manager, Violin & Viola Teacher
Michele Archer
Michele is a native of Los Angeles, California, Michele Archer can’t remember a time when she didn’t absolutely love the violin.

She began to play at the age of 8, and has studied with prominent teachers such as Haruka Watanabe (St. Louis Symphony), and William Scobie (Dallas Symphony).  She attended the School of Music at Eastfield College, near Dallas, and earned a degree in Theology from the College of Emporia, Emporia, Kansas.  She has performed with a number of orchestra’s including the Dallas Opera Orchestra, the University City Symphony (in St. Louis) and even did a stint as a back-up fiddler with the Grand Ol’ Opry.

Her love of children and desire to see them become the best they can be caused her to also pursue teaching. For seven years she worked as the third and fourth grade teacher for Nicaea Christian Academy in Naples, Florida.  She went on to open her own teaching business based around her favorite instrument and became the proprietor of First Violin Lessons. Her future plans include pursuing a certificate as a Suzuki violin teacher and completing her degree in Fine Arts by next fall.

She is very pleased to continue her work as the Store Manager, Sheet Music Specialist as well as the violin and viola instructor at Miller's Sheet Music.
